PART-TIME (20 HOURS A WEEK), FULLY REMOTE

AMW Marketing & Design is a boutique branding, web design and marketing coaching firm in the Washington, DC Area, specializing in helping service-based business owners develop brands, websites and processes that attract and convert more clients and grow six-figure businesses. Since 2013, we have helped entrepreneurs nationwide achieve greater professional success by launching and redefining beautiful brands and websites that generate steady revenue while also highlighting their unique personality and competitive differentiators. We are minority and woman-owned with a diverse list of clientele. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant and Webmaster to manage our Marketing & Maintenance program and assist with the CEO’s daily tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with HTML and CSS
  • Experience with WordPress, web content management systems
  • Experience with the Divi theme preferred
  • Effective written communicator in American English language
  • Ability to learn other systems quickly including ManageWP and Freshdesks
  • Adaptive design eye and skill
  • Technology oriented
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to accomplish multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Facebook and Instagram
  • Ability to learn 17hats, Basecamp, Kajabi, Canva and Hootsuite
  • Ability to learn video editing 
  • A proactive and driven attitude
  • Love for creating and posting on social media

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Webmaster duties:
    • Manage and make photo, text and page updates to clients’ WordPress websites, mainly using the Divi theme
    • Occasionally need to communicate with hosting companies live chat support to resolve an issue
    • Regularly initiate security and performance checks through ManageWP, correct related issues that may come up
    • Customization of websites using HTML and CSS
  • Admin. Assistant duties:
    • Create social media posts and graphics for 3 Facebook groups
    • Post/schedule social media content to go out on designated dates and times
    • Manage Facebook messenger on website
    • Like and comment on target customers posts on Instagram
    • Potentially respond to messages on Instagram
    • Video edit 1-2 videos a week for Youtube
    • Send clients non-payment email notices
    • Create video clips for social media from existing video content
    • Setup email marketing campaigns with provided content
    • Pitch the media on the CEO’s behalf
    • Find and apply to speaking engagements on CEO’s behalf

PAY

This job pays $19/hour with a guaranteed schedule of 20 hours per week.
