IG Reels and Tiktok and Why You Should Be Using Them

In September 2021, TikTok reported having 1 billion active users worldwide, with 80 million of them residing in the United States. TikTok and the similar platform IG Reels have taken the social media world by storm in the last few years and have contributed to the success of many new businesses. Today we will be talking about IG Reels and TikTok and why you should be using them.

Here are 6 reasons why you should be using these platforms:

1. You’re looking to expand awareness of your business/brand to a younger audience.

2. TikTok’s unique and accurate algorithm makes it likely your business’ posts will end up on your ideal client’s For You Page

3. Better Visibility – Instagram Reels provide another way (apart from IGTV, Live, and Stories) to reach your target audience

4. Better Shareability – Reels, unlike Stories, won’t vanish after 24 hours. Users will be able to view and share them for a longer time.

5. Better Discoverability – A public Reels video appears in the Explore tab, distributing your content to many users outside your followers. And the videos also appear on the pages dedicated to the songs, the hashtags, or the effects added in the video.

6. Also, Reels is a new feature, and Instagram will want more and more users to create content in it. So, Instagram will allow Reels videos to reach more and more people
